Entanglement Entropy and Holography
Entanglement entropy is emerging as an useful observable to characterize quantum systems. In this talk we review the definition of entanglement entropy, its evaluation and application in the study of quantum field theories. We then focus on two dimensional field theories which are scale invariant and show how entanglement entropy has played an important role in understanding quantum gravity through holography.
